You have not mentioned whether you intend to 1.breed goats for meat or milk
2.the scale of operation(money you intend to invest)
3.the area of land you have and
4.the availability of labour.If you are a total beginner- go slow,with just a few animals to get the experience.Increase your activity after a year of experience with adult females of 2 to 3 years age, which you may be able to buy locally in pregnant condition.
