Married Goat Dead

Local elders ordered in South Sudanese capital of Juba who ordered a man last February to marry the goat, named Rose, after he was caught having sex with it, has died.

Rose apparently died after choking on a plastic bag that she swallowed while foraging for food scraps. Rose also gave birth to a buck after marrying her husband, but not human of course, that makes Rose guilty of adultery (usually a death sentence I think in Sudan, lucky goat!).

The groom was evidently drunk at the time of Rose's death and but he has retained custody of the kids. The elders say the marriage idea was to publicly embarrass the man and show that the Sudanese have a good sense of humour
