You have asked for the choice from Boer, Jamnapari, and Sirohi breeds.
From what I have observed from the experience of the various efforts taken in Kerala and Tamilnadu with the Boer x Tellicherry cross breeds,and the Jamnapari x Tellicherry crossbreeds I have come to the conclusion that unless feeding is specially looked after,the growth rates and final weights are not achieved.I have seen excellent Sirohi bucks which weigh 90 kgs. (but at what age?)
So also Jamnapari bucks.What is more important is- what do you want to breed for- milk or meat? We really do not have really reliable feed conversion efficiency data on these breeds available in India at present. I have raised Saanan x Surti males which have also grown to more than 80 kgs in 3 years.Similarly the quality and quantity of concentrates fed to the animals is important.
