Owens Boer Goat Ranch , Hockley, Tx - Just north of Houston

We are a small farm where quality is our main focus - It cost just as much to feed a good one and a not so good. But it does take time and Money to get to where you want to be, so it is a work in progress. You are welcome to come and visit us in Houston Livestock show and Rodeo annually - We are happy to talk to folks especially the new exibitors that and share information. We sell show quality wethers, doelings, and Bucklings and occasionally we will cull a few does- My herd has been tested for CL and CAE and is clean so far. Our kids are born from Feb until June. I have purchased wethers and does from this farm, and have done extremly well, these people will give you the shirt off thier back. They helped me with my project from day one- start to finish. They also gave me their personal phone number just in case of an emergency or if i had any questions. I must have called them every week asking various questions. I was doing extremly well the weather looked great. Then, two weeks before show and my weather got extremly sick, I took him to the local vet and they said that he wasnt gonna make it, and asked me if they could put him down. Refuseing to give up, I made a phone call to the ranch explaining to them what had happened. They asked me not to put him down bring him out to the farm. The owens farm preformed a miricle that night, they saved my goat. The following week I won showmanship and placed third in my class. Quality goats and service, these people are truley amazing. I dont how to ever repay the act of kindness they have given me.
