Smart Use of Goats in Colorado

Organic gardeners have receeved a $10,000 grant to bring goats back to eat weeds around Bear Creek Regional Park's chemical-free garden. The grant coms from the Colorado Garden Show Inc. and will allow the Bear Creek Garden Association to rent a herd of about 500 goats to graze on 18 acres around the garden for seven to 10 days in the spring and also a similar period in the fall.
