SUPPORT the THREE LITTLE PIGS ENTRY in the 2007 Variety-Club-Bash

The NSW Variety BASH, is carrying on the great tradition of the earlier REDEX Trials. 2007 is the 23nd event and nearly 100 pre 1970 model vhicles, sponsored by and representing over 100 major Australian and overseas corporations (and you!) will embark on a huge 5,105 kms road event from Sydney to Darwin, NT. Overseas donors welcome, have a little part of the Australian outback.

The variety-club-bash annually raises in excess of $2 million for sick and special needs children through Variety – The International Children’s Charity, which has its roots in the entertainment industry. Brochures following this proposal outline the individual grants given to families, hospitals and schools.

The variety-club-bash has raised over $79 million since its inception to help sick, disabled and disadvantaged children throughout Australia

The variety-club-bash event is not a race and is carefully and professionally managed by a very experienced logistic support team and has the support of local communities and police services. This event is traditionally carried by a major television network on a daily coverage basis.

This year the Base to Bathurst bash leaves from the HMAS Kuttabul Navy Base in Woolloomooloo on Sunday August 5 and runs to Dubbo, Brewarrina, Thargomindah, Charleville, Longreach, Richmond, Burketown, Borroloola, Katherine and then to finish at HMAS Bathurst in Darwin on August 17.

Car 333 ‘The Three Little Pigs’ is a veteran variety-club-bash car. The cars livery is an immediate and popular attraction no matter where it goes. It is a 1966 HR Holden and has been purpose built for the Variety BASH and can handle all road conditions from the bull dust of the Tanami Desert to the rugged gibber plains of the outback. The car includes a unique totally hot pink interior to match the Little Pig emblems and flying pig flags outside. This will be it’s 9th bash and the first year it has an all lady crew with veteran Basher Sallymae Bailey and new crew member Vicki Reed. Sallymae has driven six previous bash events.

With their hot pink outfits and their striking vintage Holden will no doubt hold center stage over the course of this years event. Go on, support the girls, you know you want to! Support the variety-club-bash!

What Car 333 Needs to Get There! and They Need You!

Car 333 is seeking corporate and private sponsorship for the value of $1,000 – $2,000. Signage space on the car will be provided in recognition and provided in compliance with a Major Sponsor’s requirements.

Secondly, we are seeking product or services to use as raffle prizes in other fund raising undertaken by Car 333.

2. Variety – the Children’s Charity and especially the Bash receive major media coverage as they traverse the country. Black Magic Media as well as the TV ‘crosses’ produce a 45 minute video which is widely distributed after the Bash to all other individual sponsors, friends and family. Each year a free to air station cover the Bash route daily, usually in the morning news programs. Last year a 60 minute documentary was aired after the Bash. The chances of Car 333 being featured are high especially with our two hot pink ladies.

3. Your own 24 hour/365 day Billboard Advertising! Car 333 is driven every week of the year around the Sydney environs. It has already secured local council support and newspaper magazine coverage for the all girl team.
