They say that a herd of goats is responsible for starting a major fire last Sunday near the Swedish city of Gavle, and where they burn a straw goat every year at Christmas. A police spokesman said the goats had most likely chewed on an electrical cable until Sunday's fire started. "The fire is thought to have been caused by some of the goats gnawing through an electricity cable," he said, jokingly adding that police decided not to arrest a particularly guilty-looking goat.
