Goats Used in Snail Control

A herd of goats from Vason Island is being used to assist the Port of Tacoma combat an invasive species of snails. The 80 goats are from "Rent-A-Ruminant" and they are used to eat brush and grass on 17 acres of property. When the vegetation is eaten out the port will put down poison to kill the snails.
