Hawaiian Goat Rescue

Over in Hawaii 2 fishermen have rescued some 50 stranded and starving feral goats from a Big Island cliff with estimates that at least 100 died from starvation or drowning during their rescue attempt. It is unclear how the herd became stranded on the remote South Kona shoreline cliff, and it is believed that the goats were deliberately herded to the location where they were trapped, and callously left to die. Others dispute this saying there are literally thousands of goats in the area, and all these goats quite able to traverse the rock and cliff areas. As a note the fishermen should be congratulated for their efforts in trying to save them in a week where there have been many killings of goats by airlines and others
