How Namibia are Trying to Cripple their Goat Meat Export Industry

Namibia has postponed the introduction of a 15 per cent export levy on goats. The proposed levy would have had greatest affect on communal farmers in southern Namibia. The postponement is also on the condition that the Meat Board ensures the availability of alternative markets when the grace period expires.
